"He who will not risk, cannot win." -- John Paul Jones Born and raised in Western New York, Geri enjoyed writing and dreaming about foreign travel from a young age. Her dream of travel was realized when she was appointed to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Geri graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and was commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer. After a squadron tour, which took her to the North Pole, South America, and Europe, Geri attended the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California, and earned a Master of Science Degree in Information Systems. After three Navy tours Geri realized she wanted to pursue her other childhood dream: writing full-time. Geri won the Daphne du Maurier for Category Romantic Suspense and Harlequin’s Epic contest. It took her awhile to find the right place for her voice, but her first sale to Harlequin Everlasting confirmed what she’d suspected—that her life’s travels and experiences lend to heart-felt, real romance that real people find, everyday. Geri’s novel, A RENDEZVOUS TO REMEMBER, is a Harlequin Everlasting Love November 2007 release. Geri is contracted for her second book with Harlequin, tentatively scheduled for sometime in 2009. She is at work on several more story proposals. Geri left the Navy after 9 years active-duty, but the Navy remains a part of her life as her career Navy Pilot husband takes their family all over the world as his job demands. Geri currently lives in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband, two children, parrot, and black lab-mix dog.
